I’ve always loved creating. Ever since I was old enough to hold a pen, I’ve been drawing, dancing, playing instruments, you name it. These days I focus mostly on digital design, but I still make things just for fun, whether that’s an illustration or a made-up branding project. It keeps my creative brain stretching and pushes me out of my comfort zone.

The same goes for AI. Everyone has opinions about it, and so do I, but where I’ve found it most useful is in turning my web designs into working sites. I design in Figma, then build with Claude Code and Ship Studio to bring my ideas to life. I’d love to tell you more if you’re curious.

Early in my career, I took on a lot of branding projects because, honestly, I still had a lot to learn. I loved design and knew it was what I wanted to do, but school had only taken me so far. Looking back, I’m so glad I did. The projects weren’t perfect, but each one made me better, taught me something new and helped me understand what I truly enjoyed, and what I didn’t. I still do personal projects today. Right now I’m learning to code and exploring how AI can help me build websites and prototypes. This site was built with Claude Code and Ship Studio, simply because I got curious and wanted to push my skills further. Client work is great, and it pays the bills, but personal projects are where I grow as a designer.
